What is a personal care conveyor?
A personal care conveyor moves cosmetics and personal care products, such as bottles, jars, pouches and cartons, between the machines of a filling, labelling, inspection and packing line. It has to handle fragile primary packs gently and keep delicate finishes unmarked, and its frame has to be easy to keep clean.
Which KFlexiTrack conveyors suit a cosmetics line?
All 22 KFlexiTrack types are specified for cosmetics, and the job each part of the line does decides which to use. Modular belt and slat chain conveyors carry bottles and jars through filling, capping and labelling. The knife-edge conveyor carries small, delicate packs across a very small gap between machines. The packing conveyor runs slowly beside side tables for hand packing, the spiral lifts product between levels in a small footprint, and the accumulation conveyor holds a queue at zero pressure so packs wait without pushing on each other.
Can cosmetics conveyors keep fragile packs aligned?
Yes. The knife-edge and massage conveyors have adjustable side guides that keep bottles, jars and tubes aligned between machines. Modular belts come flat top, perforated, cleated or friction top, and inclined flat belts can be cleated or rough-top so packs climb without sliding back. Personal care conveyor systems are built in SS 304 or SS 316 so they are easy to keep clean.
Can a cosmetics & personal care conveyor be built to our layout?
Yes. Every KFlexiTrack conveyor is built to the application, not picked from stock. The work starts with a study of the product and the line, then a layout, GA drawings and a 3D CAD model, all signed off before a single sheet is cut. Lengths, widths, heights, drive side and finish are set to your floor, and the frames are cut, bent, machined and welded in-house in Goa. KFlexiTrack then installs, aligns and commissions the line on site and trains the operators.
Does KFlexiTrack supply conveyors outside India?
Yes. KFlexiTrack supplies customers across India and exports conveyors abroad. Every machine is designed, built and run-in at the works in Ponda, Goa before it is dispatched. Send the product, the rate it has to move at, and the floor plan. From those, KFlexiTrack comes back with a layout, a specification and a price, normally within five working days.
