What is a food and beverage conveyor?
A food and beverage conveyor moves bottles, cans, jars, pouches, biscuits, snacks, grains and cartons between the machines of a processing, bottling or packing line. The deck it runs on has to be food-grade and easy to wash down, and bottles have to stand steadily through washing, filling, capping and labelling.
Which KFlexiTrack conveyors suit a food or beverage line?
The slat chain conveyor carries bottles through washing, filling, capping and labelling. Modular belt conveyors, straight or with L, C, U and Z turns, carry packs through hygienic areas, and the spiral lifts them between levels. The knife-edge conveyor uses a food-grade PU belt on an SS 304 frame for small food items. The bucket elevator lifts food grains and frozen foods, and the massage conveyor steadies bottles and pouches before labelling, capping or coding.
Are KFlexiTrack food conveyors stainless steel?
Yes. Food handling and food processing conveyors are built as stainless steel conveyors in SS 304, or SS 316 where the product or the cleaning calls for it, with a matt or bead-blasted finish that takes thorough cleaning. A food conveyor system can carry product through quality control and inspection stations on a slat chain or modular belt, and the knife-edge conveyor runs a food-grade PU belt.
Can a food & beverage conveyor be built to our layout?
Yes. Every KFlexiTrack conveyor is built to the application, not picked from stock. The work starts with a study of the product and the line, then a layout, GA drawings and a 3D CAD model, all signed off before a single sheet is cut. Lengths, widths, heights, drive side and finish are set to your floor, and the frames are cut, bent, machined and welded in-house in Goa. KFlexiTrack then installs, aligns and commissions the line on site and trains the operators.
Does KFlexiTrack supply conveyors outside India?
Yes. KFlexiTrack supplies customers across India and exports conveyors abroad. Every machine is designed, built and run-in at the works in Ponda, Goa before it is dispatched. What does a quote need, and how long does it take?
Send the product, the rate it has to move at, and the floor plan. From those, KFlexiTrack comes back with a layout, a specification and a price, normally within five working days.
